Patterned tone-on-one carpets seem to be the fastest growing segment of carpets and they are extremely popular in Westchester County.
Tone on tone carpets are one color with stenciled designs in them. The patterns are created by part of the carpet being looped and put cut and/or with different pile or loop heights. The tone-on-tone carpets come in all sorts of patterns – some are geometric, some are flowery, some are abstract. They are a really nice way of adding some visual intrigue to the room without adding lots of color (which can sometimes be distracting and limit your selections on furniture, pillows, window treatments, etc.)
Tone-on-tone carpets (sometimes called loop-cut-loop carpets) tend to be a little bit more expensive than solid carpets, but only a little bit more expensive. Like any type of carpet or flooring, these come in a range of prices with some on the lower end and some on the higher end.
Patterned tone on tone carpet come in a variety of colors – from light neutrals to darks as well as bright colors. The darker ones tend to show up better on the computer screens, so I tend to include those to help visualize the idea. They are a great option for your home in Westchester County.
