Do you have to have white cabinets to have a farmhouse look?
Marlene – No, I have seen other colors work as well. Sometimes a pale blue, parchment, pale green, rustic looking cabinets (sometimes done via chalk paint or other methods). More people prefer white because it make the space look lighter and then it’s easy to add a non-white paint color and it works w/ most flooring types/colors.
